You won't get a refund for cancelling the extended warranty. Sorry.

The other two answers above me provide you with some nice WRONG information.

First, warranties wont pay for a clutch job. That's considered a serviceable component and excluded for all warranties. Just like brake pads, wiper blades, etc…

Second, most warranties have their cancellation clause in the contract. For most Mazda warranties, there's so many competitors, that they are all cancellable. You will get a PRO-RATED refund back for the TIME you havent used up. If you've used half of the warranty time up, and you paid $2000, you'll get $1000 back.

Good luck!

I just did this recently. I bought a 3yr/36k mi warranty on a used car I bought last March. Read over your warranty contract. As the third person stated, my refund was pro-rated. I paid almost $2000 for the warranty. I mailed a cancellation request and a copy of my warranty contract to the warranty company this April and received a $1200 credit which was sent directly to my financial institution… hope this helps :)
